Slaughterhouse turns the largest part of its produce to the foreign market
Slaughterhouse Mercosul, based in the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, exports to various countries, including Egypt, Algeria and Saudi Arabia. One of the company units, the one in the city of Pelotas, ships abroad as much as 70% of its produce. The company has nine plants and is the largest in the sector in the south of Brazil.
