Brasília – A survey by the Brazilian Micro- and Small-Sized Enterprise Support Service (Sebrae) has shown that micro- and small-sized enterprises remain as the primary new job creators in Brazil. The survey showed that they were responsible for 76% of the job openings in the country in November 2021. According to Sebrae, for 15 months running small-sized enterprises created most of the openings.
Commerce was responsible for opening 116,700 jobs in Brazil in November, followed by services, construction and manufacturing. As for medium- and large-sized enterprises, the highest number of jobs was created in the service sector (80,800 openings), followed by commerce at 21,300.
