São Paulo – Paraná state, the second largest producer of soy, in the south of Brazil, is going to host, between June 5 and 8, in the city of Londrina, the fourth edition of the Brazilian Soy Congress. The meeting is promoted by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and should bring together 1,200 participants from Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina and Paraguay.
The objective of the meeting is to discuss the sector challenges, from production technologies to logistics and trade of the crop. Annual exports of the soy complex total US$ 10 billion, approximately 14% of Brazilian exports.
