São Paulo – Representatives of state governments, federations of industries and businessmen have been meeting, since yesterday (3), in Curitiba, the capital of the southern Brazilian state of Paraná, for Seminar "Strategies for Industrial Development in the States", promoted by the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI). The meeting ends today (4).
They are mapping state public policies and industrial development programs in recent years in all states of the Federation. Talks will result in a joint set of suggestions and recommendations to the state governments elected in 2006.
