Brasília – The Brazilian trade balance registered a US$ 468 million surplus in the second week of April. In the month of April, the trade balance result is already US$ 576 million. The result announced by the Development, Industry, and Foreign Trade Ministry shows that the surplus has already totalled US$ 6.746 billion this year.
In the week from April 5 to 11, export totalled US$ 1.455 billion, with an average of US$ 363.8 million per working day. Import totalled US$ 987 million, and the average was US$ 246.8 million per working day.
The ministry should announce the complete figures for the trade balance at around 03:00 pm today (Brazilian time).
