São Paulo – Between May 12th and 16th, Damascus, the capital of Syria, should host the 17th edition of Buildex, the International Exhibition for Construction. The event should include civil construction and real estate companies from all over the Arab world and other countries.
The organizers of the event, Arabian Group, inform that Buildex is a window for companies in the building sector to present their products to the international market.
Last year’s edition of the Buildex covered an area of 150,000 square meters. It received 759 companies from 57 countries. Most of the 188,000 visitors were from Syria and from other Arab countries. But there were exhibitors and visitors from other nations, especially in Europe. This year, 401 companies have already confirmed presence. Of these, 306 are Syrian, 41 Turkish and nine Italian.
Seminars and talks on the building sector should take place during the five days of the fair. The exhibition opens daily, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
