São Paulo – São Paulo – The Syrian Ministry of Tourism is going to promote the eighth edition of the Arab Tourism Bourse, an international trade fair that should feature exhibitors from more than twenty countries, and attract roughly 18,000 visitors. The event is due October 19th to 22nd in Damascus.
The fair should be attended by government officials and tourism industry representatives, as well as potential travellers seeking new destinations. The event’s organizers will enable foreign participants to visit the monuments in Damascus, and a dinner will be promoted to integrate foreigners and Syrians.
According to a statement issued by the Syrian government, "representatives from the world over take part in the Arab Tourism Bourse to develop new international channels, increase the travel volume, and improve the profile of tourism projects in their respective countries."
