São Paulo – On Monday (18), the Syrian Arab Cultural centre should promote a night of poetry, dance and Arab music, at its offices, in the city of São Paulo. The event celebrates the Syrian Republic’s National Day, and recalls its independence, in 1946.
Presentations should begin at 8:30 pm, at 1053 Augusta street, in Consolação neighbourhood, and participation is open to the public in general. Admittance is free.
The Syrian Arab Cultural Centre usually promotes activities about Syrian and Arab culture, like art exhibitions, dance shows and talks, as well as Arabic courses. The organisation is maintained by the government of Syria and its objective is to promote Arab culture in Brazil.
