São Paulo – Images of Syrian cultural and historical landmarks and the Syrian flag will be projected onto the façade of the building of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), on São Paulo’s Paulista Avenue next Saturday (17) to mark the 75th anniversary of Syria’s independence, the Consulate of Syria in São Paulo disclosed.
According to the Consulate, the projections will honor the Syrian community in Brazil for its role in societal development in Brazil, particularly in the state of São Paulo, in an initiative from the Consulate, backed by FIESP. The projection will last from 7 pm to 10 pm. Syria’s consul-general to São Paulo, Elias Bara, will be present.
