São Paulo – The Syrian-Lebanese Hospital (HSL), from São Paulo, should promote in Sergipe and Alagoas, an advanced course on breast cancer. According to a spokesperson for the institution, the lessons should take place on the 20th and 21st of this month, in Aracaju, and on the 17th and 18th of September, in Maceió.
HSL is considered one of the Brazilian references in the treatment of cancer. According to the organisation, the course is turned to professionals who operate in the Unified Healthcare System and should attract 400 people.
In Sergipe, the lessons have the support of the State Health Secretariat and, in Alagoas, of the Holy House of Mercy of Maceió. They should be taught by HSL doctors and by institutions in both states.
Still according to the hospital’s press statement, a symbolic fee of 60 Brazilian reals (US$ 33), to be reverted to hospital philanthropic projects. The courses themselves are inserted in this concept.
