Syrian-Lebanese Hospital researches Amazon plants
The hospital, in partnership with the Paulista University, is gong to establish a laboratory to help in the identification of the main extracts removed from plants from the Amazon and Atlantic Forests. The objective is to detect antitumoural, antibacterial and antioxidant substances. It is estimated that Brazil has 20% of the global biodiversity.
