Syrian Sports Club commemorates 25 anniversary of victory in World Interclub Basketball Championship
On October 8, 1979, the Syrian Club won the Basketball Interclub World Championship. Almost 25 years later, three world champions recall the whirlwind of emotions that took charge of the team – which included famous player Oscar Schmidt – on the day in which a crowded Ibirapuera gymnasium screamed with every point scored by the Brazilians.
