Chicken meat exports from Brazil climbed 4.5% year-on-year in May to 399,400 tons, while revenues slid 17.3% to USD 546.3 million.
Entity hosted online meeting with representations from around 30 trade association and government bodies and invited them to be part of the committee established in the pandemic to meet the Arab supply needs.

Foreign sales went up in terms of shipped volume, but declined in terms of revenue.
The Arab country, which had been the biggest buyer for eight years on end, saw China overtake it this year.
Revenue in the month reached USD 537.5 million. Exports grossed 321,900 tons, up 3.1% from a year ago.
Poultry exports from Brazil dropped 28% to Saudis and 8% to the United Arab Emirates last September. But sales to Egypt and Bahrain soared.
