The food industry show in Dubai marks the return of Brazilian enterprises to major in-person events. An import-export company that’s an Arab Brazilian Chamber member struck a deal to ship its first container at the event.

The organization partnered up with the Confederation of Trade and Business Associations in Brazil (CACB) and the service is being made available in São Paulo and Itajaí since early February. Preferential certificates of origin are a requirement for eligibility for tariff breaks or tariff exemption in trade with countries that sustain free trade agreements with Brazil.

The event hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce has become the place to be for Brazilians and Arabs. It will run from October 19 to 22, featuring authorities, business executives and delegates from organizations in Brazil the Arab countries. Registration is available.

Several singers and actors from Brazil will be featured in the TV show ‘Embracing Beirut,’ to air on Brazil’s TV Cultura and Lebanon’s LBCI next Sunday as a fundraiser to help the victims of the August blast at the Port of Beirut. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is supporting the initiative.

Brazilian and Arab enterprises featured in the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce area at the Foodeshow got in touch with players in five Arab countries. The event wrapped up this Wednesday (9), but its online platform will remain available going forward for additional networking.

Company Jacto of Brazil believes in the potential of partnerships to implement new technologies in the Arab country, where opportunities are available to grow citrus fruits, tomatoes and olives. Industry association Abimaq’s executive director stressed Brazil’s role in technology production in an Arab Chamber webinar this Wednesday (9) featuring Brazilian and Moroccan diplomats.
