ABPA informed Brazilian industrial poultry plants remain free of any cases of the disease.
The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce sent a note to Arab embassies in Brazil with clarifications on the cases of avian influenza identified in wild birds in the country. Brazil remains free of the disease.
An outbreak of H5N8 in a Saudi farm was made public this week. According to the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), this should not impact exports from Brazil, but sales can be increased if need be.
