Industry players will convene next August in Paraná for the Brazilian Forum of Dry Bean, Pulses and Special Crops. The event will also be joined by the Global Pulses Confederation (GPC), which is based in Dubai.

Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture has launched a development plan for the sector, which aims to increase beans exports. In 2017, the country sold 106,000 tons to foreign markets.
The National Supply Company (Conab) said 2017-2018 grain and oilseed output is poised to reach 232.6 million tons, which would be second only to the preceding crop season.
