According to information from the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to China, four countries have reopened their markets for Brazilian beef: Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Jordan, and Malaysia. Still, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Iran, Russia, and Thailand remain embargoed.

According to Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture, Saudi authorities have lifted the ban on five beef plants in the state of Minas Gerais. The clearance came into force on Thursday (16).
