Speaking at the Brazil Africa Forum on Tuesday (31) in São Paulo, foreign policy adviser Celso Amorim reaffirmed the importance of Africa for the Brazilian government. Amorim met with UAE minister on the sidelines of the forum.
Tripoli-based authorities had meetings last week with Brazil Africa Institute president João Bosco Monte and expressed the desire to revive the relations their country once had with Brazil.
The event will take place in São Paulo on November 29 and 30 to foster good practices and partnerships between Brazil and African countries.
