The UAE’s Sharjah Art Foundation is hosting the exhibition “Leda Catunda: I like to like what others are liking” until February, featuring paintings and objects from the Brazilian artist’s more than forty-year career. In an interview with ANBA, Catunda shared her experience of exhibiting in an Arab country for the first time.

An exhibition held by the Saudi Ministry of Culture showcases works by artists from the Arab country at the Paço Imperial in Rio de Janeiro. The collection celebrates visual art as a way to rethink how people interpret the world around them.
To organize the event, the country’s Ministry of Culture established a foundation aimed at hosting one contemporary art and one Islamic art biennale.
Brazilian artist Jonathas de Andrade was part of an art residency in Jordan in 2013. The work created there is exhibited in Sesc_Videobrasil Contemporary Art Biennial in São Paulo.
