After a meeting with authorities from the Arab country, the president of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber said the technical processes for implementing digital customs clearance in Brazil-Egypt trade are now complete.

The tool created by the Arab Brazilian Chamber digitalizes export processes. An agreement for the utilization was signed with the Arab country’s customs authority this Thursday (4) and will come into force in June at the Port of Alexandria.
Hybrid event will address the New Era 5.0 in International Trade on Thursday, February 9, starting 9 am (BRT). The Arab Brazilian Chamber will also announce this year’s activities.

Georges Hobeika, from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, spoke at the Arab Chamber to launch a program of digitization of documents from the Syrian-Lebanese immigration. ‘It would be a crime to allow this memory to fade away,’ he said.
The dean of Lebanon’s Holy Spirit University of Kaslik will deliver a lecture on May 3 to mark the start of an initiative to digitize the memory of Syrian-Lebanese migration to Brazil.
