Starting on Monday (1st), the news of the Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA) will feed the Arab-Brazilian Chamber’s platform created to digitalize trade between Brazil and Arab countries.

The institution will start conducting a pilot plan focused on the traceability of halal production and logistics chain. The tool will be part of the Ellos Platform and was the subject of an agreement signed at the GHB forum.
The solution developed by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce allows the entire export process to be carried out digitally with blockchain technology without paperwork.
The tool created by the Arab Brazilian Chamber digitalizes export processes. An agreement for the utilization was signed with the Arab country’s customs authority this Thursday (4) and will come into force in June at the Port of Alexandria.
Starting March 1, 2023, all export processes from Brazil to Jordan will take place on the Easy Trade platform of the Arab Brazilian Chamber, which held an event to inform exporters on the tool.
Hybrid event will address the New Era 5.0 in International Trade on Thursday, February 9, starting 9 am (BRT). The Arab Brazilian Chamber will also announce this year’s activities.
Taking stock of 2022, the year when the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce turned 70, its president Osmar Chohfi highlighted the record-breaking trade between Brazil and the Arab market, the launch of a halal project, the Economic Forum Brazil & Arab Countries, and the expansion of electronic customs clearance system Easy Trade.
Jordan’s customs authority received training from the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce team to use digital customs clearance in Brazilian exports to the country.
According to an announcement made in the Global Halal Brazil forum, electronic platform Ellos will be used for all imports in Egypt. The system allows for digitally issuing and checking trading documents.
