Brazil shipped 11,900 tonnes of fresh and processed eggs abroad from January to May 2023. Japan was the leading buyer and displaced the UAE, which had that position last year.

Brazilian farms registered a production of 928.4 million dozen eggs in the fourth quarter of 2018, more than in the third quarter of last year and more than in the same period of 2017.
