Special Department of Federal Revenue of Brazil has expanded the list of imported goods whose customs clearance will be speeded up for being necessary in the fight against COVID-19.
Brazil’s Federal Revenue reported BRL 114 billion collected, up only 0.06% from September 2018, but still the highest amount for the month since 2014.
USD 29 billion went into the government’s coffers during the month, the highest result for the month since 2014.

The amount collected by government is down 0.27% from November 2017.
The Brazilian government saw revenue go up 1.08% year-on-year.
Tax collection was up 12.8%, driven mainly by improved results from businesses.
