International visitors to the Latin American country reached 2.97 million year to date through May, up 108% from a year earlier.
Over 868,000 tourists from abroad visited Brazil in the first month of the year, exceeding by more than 100,000 the amount reported in January 2019, before the pandemic, and triple the same period in 2022.
