Brazil’s president-elect said Thursday (17) that the federal government will once again accommodate all Brazilians starting next Climate Conference, whether they are from the government, the private sector or the civil society. COP28 will take place in Dubai next November.

Addressing COP27, the president-elect said Brazil wants to cooperate once again with the poorest countries, with investments and technology transfers, and fight hunger in the world. He emphasized that the efforts to fight climate change will have the highest profile in his next administration.
After an invitation from Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Lula confirmed his presence at the UN Climate Change Conference. The event will occur from November 6 to 18 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
