Businessman Mohamad Orra Mourad took over as secretary-general of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce earlier this month. A descendant from Palestinians and Lebanese, he comes from the real estate sector to run the institution’s projects at an executive level.

Saudi Arabia’s Industry and Mineral Resources Minister Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef met with Arab-Brazilian Chamber International Relations Vice President Mohamad Mourad in Brasília on Thursday (25) and will rely on the institution’s support to identify other Saudi industries that could draw interest from Brazilians.
The diplomat of Syrian origin was reelected for the 2023-2024 biennium as president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. He will lead the entity alongside four vice presidents, a treasurer and 12 statutory directors.
