In the opening ceremony of the Global Halal Brazil forum, Arab Brazilian Chamber president Osmar Chohfi presented good prospects for the halal market. Agriculture minister Tereza Cristina participated remotely and underscored the magnitude of Brazil as a supplier of certified products.
Alongside representatives of halal certifier organizations, the Arab Brazilian Chamber revealed that it will embark on a new effort to establish the image of Brazilian halal goods as the best in the world. The announcement was made during the Brazil-Arab Countries Economic Forum.
During a webinar hosted by certifier Fambras Halal this Wednesday morning (17), Brazil’s Agriculture minister Tereza Cristina gave an optimistic overview of what the near future holds, and said she hopes Brazil’s relations with Islamic countries will grow even stronger.
Trade, politics-diplomacy and technical cooperation will be the three pillars of the congressional group, said group chair senator Jean Paul Prates during a webinar hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber and by Fambras Halal.
