The National Library Foundation of Brazil and the National Library of Palestine have signed a protocol providing for the exchange of information, sharing of collections, and collaboration in research.

The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Brazil’s National Library Foundation have signed an agreement that provides for activities such as exhibitions and the exchange of digital documents.
Publishers interested in translating books originally published in Brazilian Portuguese can access a support program. Projects for new translations may receive up to USD 6,000. Applications close in October.
The institutions will sign a technical cooperation agreement in the coming months for the exchange of digitized documents and archives, as well as to conduct research.
Publishers interested in translating and releasing books by Brazilian authors abroad can apply for financial support from Brazil’s National Library Foundation until October 6.
