In yet another clash between Brazilian and Arab teams, Brazil’s Palmeiras beat Egypt’s Al Ahly 2-0.
The football tournament features five clubs from Arab countries and four from Brazil. Brazil’s Flamengo and Tunisia’s Espérance face off on Monday (16).
The Brazilian team defeated the Egypt’s team 2-0 on Tuesday (8) in the Club World Cup game to book their place in the final of the competition that is taking place in the UAE.
The Brazilian club Palmeiras will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup in February next year in the UAE, after winning the CONMEBOL Libertadores this Saturday (27). The semifinals opponent could be Mexico’s Monterrey or Egypt’s Al Ahly.
