Last month saw USD 19.2 billion worth of exports from the country, with imports reaching USD 13.2 billion and leading to a USD 5.9 billion surplus.

Exports reached USD 5.2 billion and imports came out to USD 3.3 billion in the third week of May in Brazil. Month-to-date, there was a USD 5 billion surplus.
The surplus is the result of USD 8.8 billion in exports and USD 5.7 billion in imports in the month’s first two weeks.
In the month’s first week, there was a surplus of USD 1.4 billion. Year-to-date, exports have been exceeding imports in over USD 15 billion.
