A note from Brazilian ministries details the payments made by the Latin American giant to international organizations this year, including the UN, FAO, OAS, WHO, and Mercosur. These contributions reaffirm the country’s commitment to multilateralism and international cooperation, according to the government.

In an interview with Emirates News Agency on the occasion of the WTO ministerial meeting that started on Monday (26) in Abu Dhabi, and referring to multilateral fora, the Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates said he hopes Brazil will play a significant role in agriculture.

Three Brazilian scholars organized the work with 33 analyses on the World Trade Organization’s dispute settlement system. One of the organizers, Luciana M. de Oliveira Sá Pires lives in the UAE, where the book will be launched in 2020.

The foreign ministers of the bloc composed of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa convened in Rio de Janeiro. They called out for increased representation of emerging countries with international organizations.
