Brasília – Federal taxes and contributions reached BRL 102.245 billion (USD 30.2 billion) in November, up 0.1% from November 2015 in real terms. The information was made public this Tuesday (20) by the Federal Revenue Secretariat.
Year-to-date through November, tax collection was down 3.16% to BRL 1.162 trillion, also in real terms.
November was the second straight month to see collection go up. October tax collection stood at BRL 148.7 billion, an all-time high for the month. The result was driven by the federal government’s asset regularization/funds repatriation program.
