Amman – Jordan’s tourism sector generated USD 2.5 billion in the year’s first six months, up 13.5% over the same period of last year, when revenues reached USD 2.2 billion. The information was released by Jordanian news outlet Petra.
According to Petra, Jordan’s Central Bank pointed out that the performance is the result of an increase of 9.5% in the number of visitors in 2017’s first six months in comparison to the same period of 2016.
