São Paulo – The Arabian Travel Market 2022 (ATM), the leading event for the travel industry in the Middle East, will take place from May 9 to 12 at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tourism professionals from around the world will return to the emirate for the event that will welcome over 1,500 exhibiting companies and 20,000 visitors during the four-day show, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
The tourism trade show will feature 112 countries on the show floor ranging from Japan to Jamaica and South Africa to Italy. Industry professionals will have the opportunity to meet and discuss the latest trends from a cross-section of travel, including technology, transport, sustainability, events and business.
According to the organizers, the floor space of the exhibition increased by over 85% compared to the previous year and the exhibitor space eclipsed 2019 levels, which is a result of how the industry has rebounded well.
In line with this year’s theme of “The Future of International Travel and Tourism,” ATM will unveil new technology that will eliminate the need for business cards and allow exhibitors and visitors to share details, brochures and marketing material via innovative scanners and badges.
The tourism and technology event ATM Travel tech will take place in parallel. And the in-person Arabian Travel Market will be followed by the third instalment of ATM Virtual, which will take place from May 17 to 18.
