São Paulo – The International Tripoli Fair started yesterday (20th) in Libya. The fair includes a stand of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Brazilian foreign office (Itamaraty).
According to the secretary general of the Chamber, Michel Alaby, Grendene, a Brazilian shoe manufacturing company, is exhibiting at the stand by means of its local representative, the Al Mohilat Company. A representative of pipes and connections manufacturer should join the group today.
Alaby added that the Odebrecht group also participates in the fair, but has its own stand. The company has large ongoing works in Libya, such as the new Tripoli airport and the city’s third ring road.
