São Paulo – The king of Morocco, Mohammed VI, and the interim president of Tunisia, Mohamed Moncef Marzouki, have signed this Friday (30th) in Tunis, the Tunisian capital, 23 cooperation agreements between the two countries. The Moroccan head of state is paying a three-day visit to Tunisia beginning today, according to information from the Kuwait News Agency and Agence Tunis Afrique Presse.
The agreements and memorandums of understanding signed cover various sectors, such as economics, tourism, healthcare, education, trade, safety and energy. The countries have not supplied further details about the partnerships.
In his visit to Tunisia, Mohammed VI is being accompanied by crown prince Moulay El Hassan and prince Moulay Rachid, plus ministers and 90 business executives. The delegation includes the minister of Interior, foreign minister, minister of Endowments and Islamic affairs, Economy, National Education and Vocational Training, Higher Education, Scientific Research, Equipment, Transportation and Logistics, Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, Health, Tourism, Civil Service and Administration Modernization, Energy, Mining, water and Environment.
