São Paulo – With routes that could include from beaches to luxury hotels or a night camping in the Sahara desert, Tunisia wants to attract more Brazilian tourists. With this purpose in mind, the Arab country was presented yesterday as a travel destination, showing its main attractions.
Helena Romano, the director general of Destino Tunísia, an operator specialized in trips to the country, located in North Africa, spoke about the natural beauties, the historic monuments and natural beauties as well as the hotel infrastructure of Tunisia. Helena also pointed out that Tunisia is a safe country and its inhabitants, apart from Arabic, also speak French, making communication with tourists easier. Coexistence and religious tolerance between Muslims, Christians and Jews was another characteristic pointed out by the director.

Helena also called attention to the good state of conservation of the historic ruins and for local cuisine. “The food is delicious, but for those who do not adapt, all restaurants and hotels have international food,” she recalled.
