Brasília – Tunisia is taking ahead a daring technology plan that was presented today (10) by the president of the National Chamber of Information Technology, Faouzi Zaghbib, at one of his talks at the business meeting, which took place in the sidelines of the meeting between the Arab and South American heads of state.
The country has stipulated targets for the sector, which is expected to expand its participation in the local economy. Among the objectives to be accomplished by 2006 are the creation of 27,000 new posts for graduation in the technology and investment of US$ 1.5 billion in the software and service sector.
