São Paulo – Ban Ki-moon, UN’s Secretary-General, said this Friday (5) that the Olympic Games are an opportunity for peace, harmony and reconciliation. He’s in Rio de Janeiro, the host city of the 2016 Games, to take part in the event’s opening ceremony, scheduled for this Friday also. During the day, he covered a small distance through the streets of Rio de Janeiro the Olympics torch.
“I sincerely hope that all the people around the world will be united around the Olympic flame which means peace, reconciliation, harmony and human rights, human dignity”, said Ki-moon.
