University to have course in Arab history and culture
The classes, to be held at the Federal University of the State of Paraná (southern Brazil), will focus on pre-Islamic Arab societies, the advent of the Islam, the Arab expansion, and its influence on European peoples. Music, poetry, calligraphy, architecture, and literature will also be approached. The course begins on September 10th.
