São Paulo – Brazil’s Vale mining company produced 2.1 million tons worth of iron ore pellets in Q2 this year, it reported this Monday (16).
The number is the same as in Q1, but up some 200,000 from Q2 2017, driven by increased productivity at the plant.
Vale owns an iron ore pellet plant, storage facilities and a maritime terminal in Sohar, Oman. It ships ore from Brazil to process in Oman.
