São Paulo – Algeria imported 299,041 vehicles from January to September, as against 241,992 in the same period last year, a 23.5% increase according to Algerian Customs figures. The information was supplied by Algérie Presse Service (APS), the country’s official news agency.
Imports stood at 261.83 billion Algerian dinars (US$ 3.53 billion), as against 228.2 billion (US$ 3.07 billion) in the first nine months of 2010, a 15% increase according to provisional figures from the National Centre for Data Processing and Statistics (CNIS, in the French acronym).
