São Paulo – The number of automobiles and light commercial vehicles sold in June in Brazil was up 24.18%, at 340,706 units sold, as against 274,368 units in May. In comparison with the figure for June of last year, 286,912, sales were up 18.75%.
Year-to-date, sales were down 0.33%, at 1,632,483 units sold, as against 1,637,899 in the same period of last year. The figures were issued this Tuesday (3rd) by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distributors (Fenabrave), in São Paulo.
Including all vehicle categories, the industry posted a 8.46% increase in total sales in June as against May. Total sales were up 2.21% June-on-June, and down 3.11% from January to June.
