São Paulo – “Innovation and Technology in the Arab World and the Transformation of the Chamber of Commerce in the New Global Situation” will be covered by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC)’s last webinar in 2020. The free virtual event will take place on Monday (14) at 10am (BRT). Registration is open.
The talk will feature ABCC secretary-general and CEO Tamer Mansour and São Paulo Investment and Exports Promotion Agency (SP Negócios) International Business director Silvana Gomes. The talks will be in Portuguese, and simultaneous translation will not be available.
Mansour will address the main technological innovation in the Arab world, such as the creation of 100% renewable energy smart cities; construction 3D printing, which can cut the costs by around 70% in the sector; and Green Building projects, which are already underway in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Morocco.
Moreover, Mansour will delve into the ABCC actions using technology to connect Arabs and Brazilians, such as the newly launched Ellos platform based on the Blockchain.
The webinar is hosted in partnership with São Paulo Tech Week 2020 (SPTW), a Brazilian innovation festival aimed at making São Paulo into Latin America’s largest business generation and innovation hub. This year’s event takes place from December 12 to 18 and will be entirely online. It has been hosted since 2015 by SP Negócios.
