São Paulo – Egypt’s Agricultural Exports Council (AEC) is hosting on Wednesday (10) an online seminar for Egyptian exporters on how to sell their product to Brazil. Experts from both countries will discuss the Brazilian market for citrus, garlic, grapes, dates, herbs and spices.
The event is an effort to create new sales opportunities for Egyptian exporters. The Arab country has been in a free trade agreement with the Mercosur since 2017, and sales of many of its products to Brazil have been cleared recently through the issuance food safety certificates, including for citrus fruits – these certificates are a requirement in order for food to be exported.
