São Paulo – A group of representatives from the World Trade Organization (WTO) will be visiting Brazil from Monday (23) to Friday (27) to collect information regarding the Brazilian foreign trade policy. This information was published in paper Valor Econômico today (20).
According to information in the paper, this kind of procedure takes place every four years in developing countries with representative participation in world trade. One of the WTO interests is to know how Brazil presented such significant growth in export in the last four years. The increase in foreign trade revenues in the period was 50%.
Representatives of the organization are going to visit the main industrial sectors to learn more about Brazilian interests in the foreign trade preference accords the country and the Mercosur are signing with various nations around the world.
