The project consists of attractions promoted by refugees in the city of São Paulo. The activities relate to the hosts' culture. Palestine's Yara Tanji, for instance, offers the “Middle Eastern ritualistic dance;” and Syria's Fatima Ismail, Ghazal Baranbo and Yaman Saad present “Learn to Bake Syrian Homemade Bread,” “Original Syrian Food Experience” and “Trip to Damascus,” respectively. State-run oil company Saudi Aramco released its half-year financial results for the first time ever. It saw USD 46.9 billion in net income during the first half of 2019. Though solid, the number is down 11.5% from a year ago. “Despite lower oil prices during the first half of 2019, we continued to deliver solid earnings and strong free cash,” said president an CEO Amin Nasser.
And Hajj, the great pilgrimage to Mecca saw nearly 2.5 million Muslims flock to Saudi Arabia this year. The number is up 5% from 2018 according to the General Authority for Statistics.
