Beef exports to Arab countries are the highlight of ANBA Bulletin this Monday (15). A total of 341,660 tons was shipped in 2018, the highest volume in the last 11 years, according to the story by Thais Souza. Sales to the region represented 21% of total beef Brazil sent abroad. It is worth reminding Brazil hit the world record for the product last year. “In 2018, out of the 22 Arab countries, Brazil shipped products to Algeria, Bahrain, the Comoro Islands, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the UAE,” ABIEC executive director Liège Vergili Nogueira said.
