Read on the ANBA Bulletin of this Monday (23) the main feature of the new section Halal. Last month, food company Alibra obtained halal certification for its products and it's planning to increase its market share in the Arab market. The company produces food industry inputs and food items for end buyers, mainly dairies. Halal products or services are those allowed for consumption by Muslims.

Hair products company Felps Profissional already exports to Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and now is seeking to enter the markets of the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Syria, Qatar and Egypt. "Our goal to 2018 is to double the share of Arab countries in overall revenue, because we know this is a market with lots of potential," said exports manager Teodoro Campos. 

From May 5 to 7, the embassies of Brazil and Portugal in Doha, Qatar will hold activities to celebrate the Day of Portuguese Language and Culture. There will be a lunch with typical foods and the screening of movies from both countries.
