São Paulo – Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade and National Federation of Industry (CNI) signed on to a deal last Tuesday (16) for cooperation in encouraging productive investments in the country. As per a statement on the ministry’s website, the agreement was signed by Development minister Armando Monteiro and CNI president Robson Braga de Andrade.
The arrangement should broaden information sharing and concerted action to facilitate investment, with enhanced data exchange between the ministry’s National Network of Information on Investment (Renai) and CNI’s Brazilian Network of International Business Centers (CIN). “The goal is to integrate public and private players who work to spread information and access to databanks, supporting productive investment in the country,” Monteiro said.
